Ruth Mulvey Harmer typescript and galleys
Typescript and galleys of The High Cost of Dying (Crowell, 1963); includes copy of the paperback edition. Harmer (b.1919) held a Ph.D. from USC and was an instructor in the English Department at the time this book was written.
June Harris travel diary
Travel diary of USC student and Alpha Chi Omega sorority sister June Harris documenting her trip from Los Angeles to and across Europe in the summer of 1921. The diary contains entries for virtually every day of the trip. Also included are a few loose pieces of ephemera (tickets) and some stamps that have been affixed to a few pages.
James P. Henry papers
James P. Henry long enjoyed an international reputation in aviation medical research. His work included high-altitude research in the late 1940s and the 1950s. He taught at the USC School of Medicine.
William C. Herbert papers
The William C. Herbert papers was brought to USC during the 1990s via Associate Dean for Development and Law School Historian John (Tom) Tomlinson whose expertise includes the history of USC. Though the collection's focus is the correspondence between Herbert and his mother during World War II when he was overseas, at some point later, Herbert studied and graduated from USC with a B.S. in Social Studies. His graduation photo is in the 1957 edition of USC's El Rodeo
Bessie M. Hoagland papers
The Bessie M. Hoagland papers consists of photographs, souvenir programs, report cards, copies of Alumni Review, and ephemera collected and created by Bessie Hoagland Bianchi, USC Class of 1916.
William M. Hogue scrapbook
Scrapbook and photo album, created by William M. Hogue, 1924-1929, 1953, documenting the musical, theatrical, academic, and professional careers of Hogue, an engineering student and trombonist, and his friend, Harold Roberts, a band leader, while studying at the University of Southern California during the Roaring 20s, with newspaper clippings, photos, broadsides, business cards, and programs for the USC Dance Band, Golden State Band, and USC Band.
